Growing up, I loved road design--especially innovative intersections. I wanted to be a civil engineer and design intersections to efficiently move traffic through busy areas.
ThrU Turn
ThrU Turn
This design eliminates left turns at the intersection.
Instead, all vehicles pass straight through the intersection. The vehicles that wanted to turn left make a U-turn and head back to the intersection, then turn right.
